Our Chief Technology Officer, Douglas Sesar, has been an integral part of the CemSites team since we first opened our doors back in 2012. In the early days of CemSites, he was the sole software engineer for the company. As the company grew and expanded its team, Douglas progressed to senior software engineer. In January 2021, he was promoted to Chief Technology Officer.

On a day to day basis, Douglas’ responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting the development team and aiding the software engineers in fostering and growing their skills. Additionally, he is responsible for all security policies at CemSites as well as maintaining our software infrastructure.

Previous to his work at CemSites, Douglas studied at Northeast Baptist Bible College, graduating with his Bachelor’s degree in education and biblical studies. Afterwards, he taught math and science for several years.

Currently a Deacon at his local church, he also leads his congregation’s music. When he isn’t working hard at CemSites or busy with his church activities, Douglas enjoys spending time with his wife and their 9 children.
